Evils of Idolatry

In Surah 1026 to 38 of the Holy Quran, the passage says that one should not be misled by false gods, for they do not have the power that Allah has. The Surah points out that idolatry is caused by mans conjectures. Men resort to their suppositions because they have no faith. Hence, they are deceived by inventing their own gods. Their false gods cannot guide them to the truth Allah can. Surah 1034 states  Who is more worthy to be followed He that can guide us to the truth or he that cannot and is himself in need of guidance What has come over you that you cannot judge

To guide men to the truth, the Lord of Creation (Allah) sent the Quran through the prophet Muhammad. For those who doubt its validity, they are dared to summon their false gods and ask their help in creating a chapter like that of Quran. They will also be asked,  Who provides for you from heaven and earth Who has endowed you with sight and hearing Who brings forth the living and the dead and the dead from the living Who ordains all things  (Surah 1028). These questions are included in Surah to let the unbelievers ponder and arrive to a sound judgment.

Those who have found the truth and worship Allah are said to be granted peace and abundant blessings if they do good works and seek the straight path, while those who do evil shall receive also evil. Therefore, those who do not worship Allah will not receive His rewards. This means that people who worship false gods shall perish, for nobody like Allah will defend them when their idols denounce and forsake their worship.
