Jerell Response
Responding to the viewpoints of Jerell, his position indeed provides a theological explanation of what continues to happen in China. This perspective may hold ground in seeking to identify how each one treats the challenges to Christianity. However, he also needs to consider how the Chinese are using their faith in order to reach out towards others and converting them in the process. Similarly, the manner of how the youth and young professionals lead the pattern for conversion is truly exceptional because it has the capacity to derive change amidst the constant challenges brought about by modernity, faith and spirituality.

Rodney Response
The same idea can be seen with Rodney. Though his response may be simple in nature, he tries to exhibit common grounds that shapes and molds opportunities for Chinese converts and believers. Here, he takes into consideration the eventual outcomes of what this process of development may take. Due to such connections, it also shapes Christian values within the Chinese and equally diversifying their viewpoints surrounding life. That is why the continued expansion of Christianity in China possesses a threat to the legitimacy of the Communist party due to its inability to continuously exercise control and shape Chinese perspectives accordingly.
